SUMMARY:CANCELLED Brew Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join Beer Barons of Milwaukee and Friends of Wehr member Jared Sutliff for a day of brewing beer using two different brewing methods. Learn the difference between extract and all grain brewing – how to mash\, sparge\, turn malted barley and hops into a delicious beer. Sample products brewed by members of the Beer Barons and a hard cider crafted from last year’s Cider Sunday event! Participants will learn the science\, art\, and culinary aspect of brewing from a knowledgeable host. \nThis event is rain or shine and will be outdoors in Wehr’s Amphitheater space\, weather pending (under a tent). The workshop is geared toward adults\, but teens are welcome (must be 21 or older to consume alcohol). \nStay tuned for additional brew workshops being added in August\, and mark your calendar for our Brews and Botany event on August 2nd from 4-6 pm.  \nFees (includes parking): $25 per person; $20 for Milwaukee County residents; $15 for Friends of Wehr members. Reservations guarantee a spot. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
