Insects fuel life on Earth through their roles as pollinators\, predators\, and prey\, but rarely do we consider their outsized influence on our culture and civilization. Their anatomy and habits inform how we live\, work\, create art\, and innovate. Join Dr. Klein to discover that our world would look different without insects and and how they have shaped and inspired us. \nAfter an indoor presentation\, Dr. Klein will lead an insect discovery walk at Wehr Nature Center. \nDr. Barrett Klein is a distinguished entomologist and science communicator. DESCRIPTION:Veterans from all service branches – Active Duty\, Reserve\, and Retired personnel are invited to attend monthly walks held here at Wehr Nature Center. For approximately one to one and a half hours\, we will travel on the trails of Wehr Nature Center to share camaraderie and experience seasonal nature happenings. \nNo fee but online registration is required so we may contact you in preparation and case of cancelation.
