DESCRIPTION:A Monthly Nature Series for Families \nJoin us for a monthly themed discovery walk along Wehr’s trails. \nGather your family at Wehr to learn about birding and becoming a community scientist. We’ll read Bird Count\, a story about the annual Christmas Bird Count\, and go on a birding scavenger hunt around the nature center. \nProgram is designed for children aged 6-11\, with younger siblings allowed \nFee: $7 per family; $5 for Friends of Wehr members; $5 per car parking fee applies for non-Members of FOW \nRegister online to guarantee a spot; same-day registration permitted if space allows.

Participants bird as long as desired at assigned sites or at Wehr with a naturalist.
