DESCRIPTION:Beavers are BUSY at Wehr this time of year. Families will learn about amazing beaver adaptations that help these rodents be nature’s engineers. We’ll walk to look for beaver signs\, including their dam\, lodge\, and chewings. \nRecommended for ages 4 and older. \nFee: $7 per family; $5 for Friends of Wehr members \nRegistration reserves your spot. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.

SUMMARY:Wild Ones of Southeast Wisconsin
DESCRIPTION:Wild Ones is the only national organization promoting the use of native plants in natural landscaping to promote a healthy biodiverse landscape. Our own Wehr chapter meets year-round to share their passion and knowledge of native landscaping with each other and the public. Members host tours of their naturally landscaped yards\, do seed collecting\, take field trips to local natural areas and offer educational programs to the public. Second Saturday of the month\, October to April\, 1:30-3:00 pm. Meets offsite May – September.
