DESCRIPTION:How do animals survive our frigid Wisconsin winters? Join Ms. Bev to discover the adaptations that help critters live in the snow and cold. Families will work together to design their own winter critter and put it outside to test how well it “survives.”  We’ll take a short walk to look for animals and their clues. \nRecommended for ages 4 and older. \n$7 per family; $5 for Friends of Wehr members \nReservations guarantee a space. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. \n

SUMMARY:Wild Ones of Southeast Wisconsin
DESCRIPTION:Wild Ones is the only national organization promoting the use of native plants in natural landscaping to promote a healthy biodiverse landscape. Our own Wehr chapter meets year-round to share their passion and knowledge of native landscaping with each other and the public. Members host tours of their naturally landscaped yards\, do seed collecting\, take field trips to local natural areas and offer educational programs to the public. Second Saturday of the month\, October to April\, 1:30-3:00 pm. Meets offsite May – September.
