Brews and Botany

August 22 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Plants give us the drinks that make our mornings bearable and our evenings more enjoyable. Join us for an evening unleashing our curiosities behind Brews and Botany. Sample unique beverages provided by local small-businesses innovating plant-based drinks that are expanding our palate. Explore the flavor combinations of craft beer, kombucha, coffee, and tea – all available in a beautiful natural setting paired with live music and an artisanal food truck.

This event is rain or shine and highlights how Wehr Nature Center aspires to connect people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with nature– specifically, through plants. All are welcome; however you must be 21 or older to sample alcoholic beverages.

  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage samples from area small business owners,
  • Botanical-hikes with trivia to back your favorite drinks,
  • Live acoustic music in a beautiful natural setting,
  • Food Truck available onsite,
  • Free parking for the evening (value at $5 per car).
